At Green Curtains, four educators and one gap year volunteer are participating in official ECD (Early Childhood Development) learnerships. The toddler teacher completed level 1 and is now participating in level 4. Three educators who were competent in level 4 are now participating in level 5.
Two teachers also participated in the 2-day training with CAPHSA, on child safety, while two teachers participated in a 2-day training with Think Twice, on HIV AIDS and Child Abuse.
Ongoing development of our educators remains a focus of our work.
