Masakhane and Green Curtains teachers are taking advantage of the excitement in the air to feature the World Cup in the classrooms this month. With the World Cup being hosted by South Africa, poor communities are able to share in the experience of international football teams and their fans all visiting the country at once.
We are especially proud of Yolanda Orgill, English grade R teacher, who received an award for the best Level 4 part time student at the False Bay College Awards evening at the end of last year.
